Jennifer Love Hewitt prepping for 'The Client List' TV series

While the rest of us enjoyed turkey, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving, Jennifer Love Hewitt was doing pilates. Filming for her new TV series, an extension of her 2010 Lifetime movie The Client List, begins in January and Hewitt wants to be in tip top shape for what is sure to be many lingerie scenes.

According to Lifetime, The Client List was inspired by a true story and debuted in 2010 on the Lifetime Movie Network. It stars Hewitt as Samantha Horton a Texas native who was a former physical therapist and homecoming queen. Shortly after Horton and her husband are laid off from their jobs, she takes a job as a massage therapist at a parlor that is a front for prostitutes. These working ladies dont just service anyone, the parlor caters to high profile businessmen and Horton gets mixed up in all the dirty details.

With the scandalous movie turning into a TV series, Hewitt, who also produces the series, is all business prepping for her role on and off screen. She told People, "I will be in lingerie a lot, so I'll be working out. I will not be eating for the holidays." Sounds like a bummer, but Im sure the results will be well worth it for Hewitt when the highly anticipated series hits the small screen.

TV Guide reports Lifetime ordered 10 episodes of the series and will debut in 2012.
