Jennifer Love Hewitt says $5 million boob insurance comment was a joke (Video)
Jennifer Love Hewitts assets are an important part of her job on Lifetimes The Client List, so she joked in a recent interview that she took out a $5 million insurance policy on her boobs. She appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night and explained that it really was a joke and that she pulled the number out of nowhere.
In an interview with USA Today earlier this month, she said that if she was offered, she would insure her boobs. If somebody was like, 'Hey, you know what? We would like to insure your boobs for $2.5 million dollars,' I'd be like, 'Do it. Love it! Why not?' she said, adding, These things right here are worth $5 million!
According to Us Weekly, she told Kimmel that the comment was all a joke and that the $5 million number was just made up.
I was doing an interview and somebody said, 'Oh, all of these people are insuring their parts. They were naming off all these different parts. They were like, 'Would you insure the ladies?' And I said, 'No, I'm not going to.' They said, 'Well, how much would you do it for if you did? the actress said. So, I just threw out a number trying to get them to move on, and the next thing you know, my brother's calling me and he's like, 'You're doing what?'
Kimmel then asked if $5 million would cover one breast or both. I don't know! I didn't mean it! she added.
