The actress prepared for her TV comeback with a sexy shoot for Maxim.

Theres ways to make a television comeback, and Jennifer Love Hewitt seems to have done it in style by stripping down to her underwear for a Maxim cover shoot.

The actress is about to make her first small screen appearance since the cancellation of The Ghost Whisperer in new series The Client List.

The 33 year old gives her younger counterparts a run for their money in a matching black bra and knicker set that shows she still has what it takes when the magazine comes calling for another sexy shoot.

She said in the magazine interview, "Whenever you guys call and say it's time to be on your cover, I'm like, 'OK, I'm in good shape.'"

Her latest role in The Client List sees her playing a mum of three who works as an escort to get by. She reveals in the mag that she is looking forward to playing the more sexual role as she is more known for her timid roles.

"I've never played a character who is this overtly sexual. It's definitely going to be a departure from the normal stuff I do.

The Client List starts on April 8th on Lifetime.
